Mobilization Offshore Campaign Sarawak

This week our team was busy to mobilize our equipment, tools and consumables for upcoming offshore campaign in Sarawak Malaysia. 

Prior to packing, the HPU and winch were tested and witnessed by the end clients. More news to follow once everything is rigged up offshore.

Orange Delta successfully completes PRP7.5 platform works in Brunei

Orange Delta Pte Ltd is proud to announce successful completion of the PRP7.5 offshore platform preparation project. In October 2021 client Allseas awarded the project to Orange Delta as part of their pipeline replacement project PRP 7.5 which, amongst others, included 5 new pipelines, associated risers and spools to be installed for Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP). 

For Allseas this was their first project in Brunei and for Brunei Shell Petroleum.

Orange Delta Singapore partnered with Serikandi Oil Field Services Brunei and jointly delivered the topside preparation scope for riser pull-in. This includes including project management, engineering and detailed work packages, procurement, structural fabrication, offshore personnel, H2S PPE / tools, and all the equipment for riser brackets installation and riser pull in.

In November 2021, part of the equipment was mobilized from Singapore onboard Allseas vessel Felicity and a week later the offshore crew with scaffolding materials mobilized out of Muara Brunei onboard Fortitude. Once offshore, the platforms were outfitted with access (scaffolding) for the installation of riser clamps, winches and HPU’s, and additional lighting. Once the pipelay was completed by Allseas vessel Audacia, the Fortitude was enabled to lift new risers and Serikandi welders plus field joint coating completed the installation.

Subsea Crossing Design and Stakeholder Management

This week Orange Delta was awarded with a long term contract entailing 4 scopes of work related to the construction of a subsea power export cable (renewable energy plant):

  1. Identification of all crossings and their owner/manager/operator
  2. Stakeholder engagement and initiation of the crossing design
  3. Develop the Crossing Agreement (contract)
  4. Design the pipeline/cable crossing structure or equivalent

Design of Seafastening

What seems to be simple and straightaway may not always be the case. Placement of cargo of considerable size often has varying approaches and opinions from vessel owners, design engineers, vessel management, deck supervisors and marine warranty surveyors. At the end of the day, we establish an agreed design solution that satisfy all parties.

Vessel Re-Activation Project

Vessel Re-Activation – Star Centurion

Many challenges faced during the re-activation of the vessel over the last 9 months, considering the 2 years layup in Batam. Offshore construction vessel Star Centurion (formerly known as “Lewek Centurion” and “Ceasar”) was towed from Batam to Johor mid 2017 for re-activation, dry docking and special survey. Today, a major milestone was achieved off the coast of Ghana, with the completion of PLET installation – made possible with the perseverance, team work and support from everyone involved, including suppliers and service providers. Many thanks to all for your support during the re-activation and we look forward in working with you again.
